La asociación de mujeres Amudina de Baza celebra su XI carrera contra la violencia de género

A pesar de las adversas condiciones meteorológicas existentes en la mañana del domingo día 29, la asociación de mujeres "Amudima" de Baza ha puesto en marcha una nueva edición de su tradicional carrera contra la violencia hacia las mujeres, en este caso, su XI edición bajo la pancarta "El Amor y No la violencia hacen a los hombres buenos".

El clásico recorrido entre la plazoleta del colegio "Divino Maestro" y la Plaza Mayor bastetana, ha tenido como meta los soportales del Museo Arqueológico municipal debido a la lluvia.


En un acto que ha contado con la participación de medio centenar de personas, la presidenta de Amudima María Luisa Ortega ha agradecido especialmente la presencia de los políticos locales, entre los que se encontraban el Alcalde Pedro Fernández, la portavoz del PP María José Martín, y el portavoz del Partido Andalucista Antonio Francisco Martínez.


Amudima ha dado lectura a un manifiesto por el que se pretende conseguir que Baza sea una tierra donde las mujeres se sientan seguras y libres para decidir su propia vida.


Como principal novedad de este año Amudima ha contado con una iniciativa de Cruz Roja de la Juventud, que ha colocado un corazón para que sea rellenado de mensajes contra la violencia.
