La cooperativa granadina Covirán se expande en Aragón

La Cooperativa Covirán va a tener su presentación en sociedad el próximo jueves 5 de noviembre con una Jornada de Puertas Abiertas.  Su respuesta como solución al detallismo independiente lo hace aumentando sus prestaciones con una nueva plataforma de distribución en Zaragoza para incrementar sus servicios y su capacidad logística.

 


 
Ha llegado este año para quedarse, gracias al esfuerzo de sus 31 Socios, con 31 establecimientos en la comunidad y con presencia en las tres provincias: Huesca, Teruel y Zaragoza, siendo esta última la que cuenta con el mayor número de asociados y donde está situada la plataforma. Zaragoza concentra más del 70 % de la población aragonesa y, por lo tanto, exigía la instalación allí de dicha plataforma.

 

Esta nueva plataforma situada en el Polígono Plaza es un punto estratégico por su comunicación: vía férrea, aeropuerto e inmejorable punto de salida de carreteras hacia las redes principales. Ello facilita la distribución de mercancía en un tiempo menor. 

 

Con una superficie de 2.000 m2 pone a disposición de los Socios alimentación seca, bebidas, droguería, lácteos, congelados, frutería y charcutería.
Cuenta con un portfolio de más de 2.500 referencias y un servicio de reparto completo a todos los Socios con dos muelles de carga y descarga. Covirán se caracteriza por ser una empresa con una gran capilaridad y el crecimiento vendrá generado por mejorar el nivel de servicio al Socio, y eso se consigue mejorando la  frecuencia de envío y a precios muy competitivos.

 

La plataforma comenzó en el mes de julio con 6 empleados directos y 50 indirectos, con unas previsiones de crecimiento para los próximos cuatro años del 50% en empleados directos y el 32 % en indirectos. Como siempre, la llegada y expansión de Covirán fortalece la economía de la zona.

 

Esta nueva inversión ha supuesto para Covirán cerca del millón de euros entre el equipamiento, el acondicionamiento tecnológico y estructural y las existencias.

Las oficinas centrales se encuentran en Atarfe (Granada) pero a día de hoy, estamos presentes en 36 provincias y 15 comunidades autónomas, además de Ceuta y Melilla.

 

Con 2.484 puntos de venta, ocupamos el segundo puesto nacional por número de establecimientos. Contamos además con 24 plataformas de distribución que están repartidas por toda la geografía nacional y 12.638 empleados, repartidos entre las plataformas y puntos de venta.

 

El grupo COVIRÁN cerró el ejercicio de 2008 con una cifra de negocio de 440 millones de euros, un 11.39% superior al del año anterior y con un crecimiento acumulado del 46.17% en el último quinquenio. Las previsiones de volumen de negocio para el año 2009 serán superiores a los 470 millones de euros.

 

Volcada en sus Socios, esta filosofía presente en la historia de la compañía desde su fundación, adquiere todo su sentido en la actualidad, cuando el proyecto ha adquirido carácter y dimensión nacional.

 

Su misión principal es liderar la solución del detallista independiente español del sector de la alimentación y por ende estar presente en toda la geografía nacional. Mejorar el nivel de satisfacción de los Socios, además de a sus consumidores finales, a través de una constante mejora de los servicios prestados, que a su vez, permita consolidar el patrimonio social y económico de la Cooperativa, es decir, de todas las personas que confían en la idea de que pertenecer a Covirán es cosechar éxitos.
