La Cooperativa ha sido distinguida en este mes en los Premios Andalucía de la Sociedad de la Información 2009 (Premios ASI´2009) como Mejor Iniciativa a la Modernización Empresarial.

 

Así, en la Resolución de 15 de marzo de 2010, publicada el día 7 de abril, la Secretaría General de Telecomunicaciones y Sociedad de la Información, hizo público el fallo de la cuarta edición de los Premios ASI, donde Covirán es valedora del premio en la categoría de Mejor Iniciativa a la Modernización Empresarial.

 

Este reconocimiento supone la consolidación del esfuerzo que la compañía viene desarrollando en el Área de las TIC´s como palanca de la modernización que está logrando a través de proyectos como el Nuevo Concepto.

 

Este proceso de desarrollo e innovación, se lleva a cabo  desde 2008, fecha en la que Luis Osuna accede a la dirección general y designa un nuevo equipo directivo para dotar de una mayor profesionalización a su estructura organizativa y así llevar a cabo la transformación y modernización societaria contemplada en la puesta en marcha del Plan Estratégico 2009-2011 de la compañía  que marca como prioritaria la modernización de la cooperativa cuyo eje fundamental es la aportación de soluciones tecnológicas a los más de 2.100 Socios que componen la Cooperativa.

 

Este hecho, posibilita por un lado que la tecnología llegue a todos sus puntos de venta y a la vez, permite ofrecer  al consumidor de Covirán un conjunto de productos y servicios de calidad muy importantes dentro de los núcleos de población, en muchos casos rurales, donde la Cooperativa está implantada.

 

Los Premios Andalucía Sociedad de la Información tienen el objetivo de reconocer la labor que las empresas, las administraciones y la propia ciudadanía están realizando para impulsar el desarrollo de la Sociedad de la Información en el territorio andaluz, tratando de agilizar y acelerar su tránsito hacia la Sociedad del Conocimiento.
