La Mancomunidad de la Costa Tropical pide a Turismo una subvención para balizar y equipar las playas

El objetivo de esta inversión es el suministro, instalación, mantenimiento y retirada de un sistema de balizamiento de playas en el litoral granadino, con la finalidad de ordenar y compatibilizar los diferente usos lúdicos de la playa con las zonas reservadas a los bañistas.

El delegado de Turismo de la Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa Tropical, Francisco Villoslada informó ayer en la Junta de Gobierno de la tramitación de la solicitud de subvención para balizamiento y equipamientos de playas para el ejercicio 2008.

El responsable ha expresado que es el cuarto año consecutivo que la Mancomunidad se acoge a la citada subvención, presentándose en este caso un proyecto inicial que afecta a todos los municipios costeros de la Mancomunidad, y que tiene un presupuesto de 430.818 euros, de los que el 60 por ciento lo financia la Consejería de Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía y el resto los ayuntamientos beneficiados por la actuación.

Villoslada ha recordado que la Mancomunidad tiene como objetivo “mejorar las condiciones de seguridad y servicio de sus playas, con el fin de ofrecer mayor calidad de servicio a los usuarios de las mismas”. Por ello, y debido a la gran afluencia de bañistas en las playas y a la proliferación de navegación deportiva (motos acuáticas, ski acuático, patines…), también se hace necesario actuar para garantizar la seguridad, ordenación y buen uso de las playas y calas.

El delegado de Turismo ha señalado que las playas son uno de nuestros mejores reclamos turísticos y que hay que hacer un esfuerzo por invertir en mejorar la imagen y los servicios de las mismas, por lo que manifestó su confianza en que la Junta apruebe la subvención.

En este sentido ha informado de que la Mancomunidad ha pedido a los ayuntamientos que abonen a la mayor brevedad las cantidades que tienen pendientes de pago de años anteriores, ya que aquellos consistorios que no hayan pagado lo que deben antes de fin de marzo no podrán acogerse a la subvención. “Esperamos que todos cumplan sus compromisos económicos y que ningún municipio tenga que quedarse fuera, ya que la imagen de las playas beneficia a todo el sector turístico”, ha expresado Villoslada.

Finalmente, Villoslada agradeció a los detentarios de concesiones de playa (chiringuitos, toldos, sombrillas, etc.) el esfuerzo que hacen por mantener las instalaciones en perfecto uso, y les pidió colaboración nuevamente para el próximo verano.

Esta subvención, convocada por la Consejería de Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía para Balizamiento de la Banda Litoral, de Canales Náuticos y Carteles de Señalización, se enmarca dentro del apartado de actuaciones integrales que fomenten el uso de las playas.
