El Metro de Granada estudia con la Asociación Gremial del Taxi la intermodalidad entre ambos modos de transporte

El Metropolitano de Granada, infraestructura que ejecuta la Consejería de Obras Públicas y Vivienda de la Junta de Andalucía, está estudiando con la Asociación Gremial del Taxi de Granada la más óptima propuesta de intermodalidad entre ambos modos de transporte, de cara a la entrada en servicio del metro ligero granadino.

 

Esta iniciativa surge a raíz de las dos últimas reuniones mantenidas con el colectivo, en las que también se ha aprovechado para ofrecer información generalizada sobre el proyecto y establecer un clima de entendimiento y mutua cooperación.

 

Esta colaboración también se fundamenta en la búsqueda de todas aquellas posibilidades que permitan a la Gremial beneficiarse de la entrada en funcionamiento del Metropolitano de Granada y que también se verán traducidas en una mayor intermodalidad y un mejor servicio para las personas usuarias.

 

Las reuniones mantenidas forman parte de la política de colaboración que el Metropolitano mantiene con los principales agentes sociales y económicos de Granada y su área metropolitana. Esta cooperación se basa, principalmente, en la información a los colectivos directa e indirectamente involucrados en las obras y la recepción de todas las propuestas que puedan mejorar y optimizar el servicio que el Metropolitano ofrecerá.

 

El Metropolitano de Granada, que constará de un trazado de 15,9 kilómetros de longitud y 26 paradas, contribuirá a mejorar la movilidad en Granada y su área metropolitana y vertebrará el eje Norte-Sur, que es el que mayor crecimiento ha experimentado durante la última década.

 

En lo que se refiere al trazado y la ubicación de las paradas y estaciones, se ha proyectado con la finalidad de que alrededor de 120.000 personas tengan una parada a menos de 500 metros de su lugar de residencia.
