El alcalde de Granada, José Torres Hurtado, ha recibido hoy al embajador de Estados Unidos en España, Alan D. Solomont, durante la visita oficial que ha realizado esta mañana a la ciudad de Granada.

El máximo responsable municipal ha acompañado al embajador estadounidense hasta el mirador de San Nicolás desde el que han contemplado y disfrutado de una de las imágenes más emblemáticas de la ciudad de la Alhambra.

José Torres Hurtado ha aprovechado la ocasión para mostrarle su agradecimiento por la reciente visita que la primera dama norteamericana, Michelle Obama, realizó a la ciudad y le ha reiterado la invitación de la ciudad para que en un futuro sea el propio Barack Obana el que disfrute en visita oficial de las maravillas de Granada.

Alan D. Solomont, que ya estuvo en Granda durante su etapa estudiantil, ha visitado el Albaicín antes de participar en el acto que con motivo del 50 aniversario del accidente de aviación se realiza en Jérez del Marquesado.
