La Junta transferirá 13,5 millones de euros a siete municipios y la Diputación de Granada para financiar la ayuda a domicilio

La Junta de Andalucía, a través de la Consejería para la Igualdad y el Bienestar Social, va a transferir a siete ayuntamientos de la provincia y a la Diputación provincial de Granada un total de 13,5 millones de euros que tendrán como fin la financiación del coste del servicio de ayuda a domicilio, contemplado éste como uno de los servicios de Ley de Dependencia.

Magdalena Sánchez, delegada para la Igualdad, ha presentado estos datos en el transcurso de una rueda de prensa en la que ha recordado que esta cantidad es sólo la correspondiente al segundo semestre, y recordó que, junto a lo transferido para los primeros seis meses, la inversión que se realizará este año superará los 26,5 millones de euros, únicamente para costear el servicio de ayuda a domicilio.

Serán los municipios de más de 20.000 habitantes y la Diputación de Granada los que reciban esta transferencia. La institución provincial recibirá casi 9 millones de euros y el resto de la cuantía hasta los 13,5 millones se repartirán entre el Ayuntamiento de Granada, que recibirá 1,9 millones de euros y Baza, Armilla, Motril, Almuñécar, Guadix y Loja.

Beneficiarias

La Consejería para la Igualdad y el Bienestar Social estima que al final de año, en la provincia de Granada, serán al menos 3.969 las personas en situación de dependencia beneficiarias del servicio de ayuda a domicilio.

La delegada para la Igualdad destacó además la importancia de número de profesionales que trabajan en este servicio, que con el número de horas previsto para el segundo semestre de este año superarán los 1.100.

También aprovechó para ofrecer un balance de Ley de Dependencia en la provincia e informó de que ya han sido valoradas más de 29.000 personas, 21.600 de las cuales cuenta con una dependencia severa o una gran dependencia. Son precisamente éstas las que tienen derecho a recibir una prestación este año. Además, se supera ya las 13.500 personas que ya están recibiendo alguna de las prestaciones incluidas en la Ley.
